Originally from Bolivia, Isabel’s personal journey to the United States fuels her commitment to helping others through the immigration process. She is proud to represent clients from all walks of life and is dedicated to serving Kansas City and all fifty states.

Isabel’s dedication to immigration law was sparked by her desire to fight for immigrants’ rights, a pursuit she began while raising two young children and studying in her second language. She graduated with honors from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Throughout law school, Isabel gained invaluable experience, interning with a federal judge at the Western District of Missouri and at the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of the Solicitor, where she developed a deep understanding of labor law and H visa regulations. She also demonstrated her leadership and commitment to international law by serving as a student assistant for the LLM program for international lawyers and as the secretary for the International Law Student Society.

Before founding her own firm, Isabel worked as an Associate Attorney at a Kansas City immigration law firm, focusing on both business and family immigration matters. Her legal career began in Bolivia, where she graduated with the highest honors and served as a judicial clerk for the first female president of the highest court in Cochabamba. This international experience, combined with her U.S. legal training and immigrant perspective, gives Isabel a unique and effective approach to her practice.

Isabel’s advocacy extends beyond her legal work. As President of the Hispanic Bar Association of Greater Kansas City, she continues to push for immigrant rights and community empowerment.
